About the event
Saturday, November 8th: We will rally at 12:00 PM at McKay’s Market in Brookings, OR (16261 US-101, Harbor, OR 97415) for last-minute supplies and trip orientation. Once everyone is checked in and ready, we’ll roll out at 1300 in convoy formation toward Miller Bar (42.139551, -124.178057) on the Chetco River, our first campsite of the trip. The drive from Brookings to camp will be short but scenic, following paved roads that lead to a maintained gravel road and then down to the river's rocky bank. Once we arrive, guests can select their own campsite on the riverbank and set up for the evening. Dinner will be a Potluck, so please bring a dish to share. Please note these two things:
